Recipes to get your skin glowing

October 02, 2019

It's beginning to feel a lot like smoothie season!

Some of you are seasoned Jeuneora smoothie makers, so you'll already know why healthy smoothies are the easiest ways to get your 5+ a day (the plus is totally the addition of Jeuneora collagen!) but for those of us that need a little bit of fresh inspiration we have what you are looking for!

We often search online for the healthiest and yummiest recipes to create ourselves, and these are adaptions of our top 4!

Enough with the chit chat, here they are.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cucumber, sliced
  • 1 tsp Naken Collagen (or your fav Jeuneora collagen powder)
  • 1 cup cubed pineapple (fresh or frozen - if frozen, leave out the ice)
  • 1/2 large ripe banana (ideally frozen)
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • 1 large handful of leafy greens (e.g. spinach or kale)
  • 2-4 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Add cucumber, pineapple, frozen banana, coconut milk, water, lime zest, lime juice, greens, and ice cubes to a blender and blend on high until creamy and smooth, scraping down sides as needed.

  2. For a thicker smoothie, add more ice. For a thinner smoothie, add more liquid.

  3. Extra lime juice will up the zesty factor whereas extra banana will enhance the creaminess. Serve immediately.
